Setup Instructions

Connect your Zoom account to Volt in a couple of clicks. The integration is configured per user — each Volt user connects their own Zoom account.

Before you start

You’ll need:

• A Zoom account
• Volt installed on Mac, Windows, or Chrome (download here)

Connect Zoom in Volt

1. Open Volt and go to Settings → Apps.
2. Find Zoom in the list of available apps and click Connect.
3. A Zoom authorization window opens. Sign in to Zoom if you aren’t already, then review the requested permissions.
4. Click Allow to authorize Volt to create meetings on your behalf.
5. The window closes automatically and you’ll see Zoom listed as connected in the Volt Apps section.

That’s it — you’re ready to start calls from any chat. See Using the Integration for how it works.

Permissions Volt requests

Volt requests the minimum scopes required to operate the integration:

• Create your meetings — to create a new Zoom meeting when you trigger /zoom in a chat.
• Read your user profile — to associate the created meeting with your Zoom account.

Volt does not access meeting recordings, chat transcripts, or participant data.
