Installation

Install Volt on your computer. Choose the Chrome extension or the desktop app.

Chrome extension

1. Open Volt on the Chrome Web Store 
2. Click Add to Chrome
3. Open WhatsApp Web  and scan the QR code with your phone

The extension works in Chrome, Edge, Arc, and Brave on macOS and Windows.

Desktop app for macOS

1. Download the latest .dmg file from the download page
2. Open the downloaded file
3. Drag Volt to your Applications folder
4. Launch Volt and scan the QR code with your phone

Desktop app for Windows

1. Download the latest .exe installer from the download page
2. Run the installer and follow the prompts
3. Launch Volt and scan the QR code with your phone

Updating

The Chrome extension updates automatically through the Chrome Web Store. The desktop app checks for updates and prompts you to install a new version when one is available.
