Quiet Mode

Quiet Mode helps you avoid messaging someone during their likely sleep hours.

Volt estimates the recipient’s local time from their phone number. Between 9:00 PM and 8:00 AM in that timezone, a Quiet Mode bar appears above the message composer and Volt can warn you or hold the message.

If a message should wait

Use Message Scheduling to choose an appropriate delivery time. Scheduled messages can send even if Volt is closed or your computer is off.

The recipient’s actual location may differ from the timezone associated with their phone number, so treat Quiet Mode as a helpful warning rather than a guarantee.
