Creating Broadcasts

Send your first broadcast message in a few steps.

Create a Broadcast

1. Open the Broadcast panel from the More Menu in the sidebar or with the shortcut ⌘ + Shift + B or Ctrl + Shift + B
2. Select your recipients — choose a saved contacts list or a group to send to the members
3. Compose your text and media blocks. Use {{first_name}} where you want Volt to insert each recipient’s first name.
4. Click Send

You can select recipients in several ways:

• Lists — Use a pre-saved list of recipients
• Groups — Select a group and send to its members privately

Delivery Timing

Volt uses natural pacing between messages and recipients. Exact timing can vary, and pacing does not guarantee that WhatsApp will not restrict an account.

Use Broadcast only for legitimate, opted-in communication. Meta does not publish safe outreach thresholds; community guidance suggests keeping outreach to roughly 50 new contacts per day, but that is not a guaranteed safe limit.

Monitoring

For a desktop broadcast, keep your computer awake, Volt open, and your internet connection active until all messages are sent.

Broadcasts started from the workspace web CRM run as durable background jobs. You can cancel them, monitor per-recipient progress, and return to an active broadcast after refreshing the page.
