Why we are building Volt

If you’re reading this, you’re probably like us: spending most of your working hours on WhatsApp, where both personal and work-related conversations happen at any time.

There are now over 3 billion active WhatsApp users globally, who open the app an average of 25 times per day—10x more than email. It’s the most widely used communication platform worldwide, and the US—with over 100 million users— is one of its fastest-growing markets.

And WhatsApp’s native tools are light-years away from what we strive for, especially if you’re a productivity-driven user. It’s an overwhelming experience, with most of the time consumed by manual tasks.

We spend too much time typing, juggling conversations, and doing repetitive tasks like scheduling or sending the same messages over and over. It can be a real mess, especially when all our groups and contacts of all sorts are entangled together.

With literally hundreds of pending conversations, it’s almost impossible to achieve inbox zero... 🙈

We’ve been feeling that way too, so we’ve started to build Volt: the fastest WhatsApp client. We are building the WhatsApp tool that we’ve always wanted.

It’s still in the early stages, but we hope it can help make things a bit easier for you. We’re crafting a product we’re really proud of, paying attention to every detail to improve your WhatsApp workflows.

A glimpse into the future

Just to give you an idea of where we are heading, these are some of the things we are including on our product on the following weeks.

• Shortcuts for Everything: Get things done faster with keyboard shortcuts and quick actions. Ideally, you’ll forget you can even use your mouse.

• Organize Your Chats: Keep your conversations neatly sorted so you can focus on what matters.

• Reminders for Follow-Ups: Set reminders for any occasion, so you won’t forget to follow up on important chats without cluttering your inbox.

• Achieve Inbox Zero: Finally get to the bottom of your chat list without stress, and streamline your workflow as fast as possible.

• Schedule Your Messages: No more forgetting to send important messages at specific times. Set them to arrive just when you need them.

• Delegate Conversations: Simplify your workload by delegating chats to AI agents that work on your behalf.

And we are starting a Beta Program

We’re really excited about Volt, and we’re starting a beta program to get feedback and make it even better. It’s only for desktop Mac users for now, but we’re hoping to expand soon to other platforms.
