Message Reminders – Launch

Manu
One-Minute Update
If you use WhatsApp for work, this has happened to you:
- You see an important message.
- You think, “I’ll answer this properly later.”
- You leave it unread.
- Later never comes.
The message gets buried under 147 new notifications, and Future You pays the price.
That’s the bug we wanted to kill.
So we built Message Reminders in Volt.
Here’s the simple idea:
Instead of using your brain as a to-do app, you attach a reminder directly to the message.
• Client sends you a long brief?
Set a reminder for tonight when you’re at your laptop.
• Investor asks for an update next week?
Reminder for next Thursday, done.
• Your partner sends “don’t forget to pay X”?
Reminder for tomorrow morning.
All with one shortcut: Shift + H.

Why this matters more than it looks:
- It changes how you think about WhatsApp
You don’t need 50 “unread on purpose” chats. Read now, deal later, without forgetting. - It gives your future self context
When the reminder fires, you jump back to the exact message, not a vague memory. - It frees up mental RAM
The moment you set a reminder, that message stops renting space in your head.
Other shortcuts:
- Go to All Reminders:
⌘ + R - Set a reminder without due date:
